Store Manager/Manager-in-Training
Location: Fairview Heights, Illinois; Anderson, Indiana; Ottawa, Illinois; Pueblo, Colorado; Salina, Kansas
Position Description: The Store Manager will perform sales management activities in support of sales/rental goals for the assigned store. He/she will recruit, train, develop, coach and schedule assigned store personnel. The Store Manager is expected to meet or exceed sales revenue goals for his/her store; assist the Retail Coordinator in preparing budgets and plans for the assigned store; resolve customer & employee problems; and perform the general management functions of report compilation, inventory/shrinkage control, cash management, staff development/discipline and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Store Manager will also be responsible for assisting the Retail Director in the ongoing development of his/her store via trade show participation and coordination, public appearances, and allied business development.

Management Development Program
Location: one of ten Jim's Formal Wear Service Centers
Position Description: Jim's Formal Wear, the parent company of Formal America & Mister Penguin Stores, is interested in potential Management Development candidates for employment at one of ten regional distribution centers across the country (Anderson, IN; Atlanta, GA; Endicott, NY; Ottawa, IL; Richmond, VA; Pueblo, CO; Seguin, TX; Salina, KS; Trenton, IL; and Visalia, CA).
A 12-15 month training program leads to management placement in one of our eight centers or within the company's retail division. Our program provides specific training in: production control, dealer relations, customer service, retail operations, marketing and resource management.
If you possess a bachelor's degree, are self-motivated, work well in a team setting and are willing to work hard, Jim's Formal Wear Company may be for you. Training will initially take place in our Trenton, IL distribution center.

Sales Associate
Location: Fairview Heights, Illinois; Anderson, Indiana; Ottawa, Illinois; Pueblo, Colorado; Salina, Kansas
Position Description: The Sales Associate performs rental activities and sales of formalwear (tuxedos) and accessories, including the presentation of products, taking of orders, fitting, presentation or rental garments and payment processing. He/she greets the customers, determines the customer’s interest in specific products and answers customer questions. The Sales Associate presents alternatives and/or upgrades in basic rental/purchase merchandise; present promotional and discount information to customers; measure customers to determine appropriate sizes for correct fit; establish pick-up and return arrangements; close sale transactions by processing payment; retrieve and present customer orders for in-store pick-up; receive and process returns, exchanges and used rental merchandise; and encourage future business.
